At Warrior Summit Coalition, we believe every veteran and service member deserves clear, direct access to the benefits they’ve earned. Our mission is to simplify the process, provide guidance, and connect warriors and their families with trusted resources that improve quality of life. From navigating VA systems to finding housing, jobs, and emotional support, WSC stands alongside veterans every step of the way.
Disability Benefits
Warrior Summit Coalition links veterans with disability support and services that are in need for disabled veterans to maintain a normal life – from connecting them with VA services and resources to locating crucial services that they can utilize in order to enrich their lives.
Education Benefits
Warrior Summit Coalition assists veterans with their education benefits by helping veterans navigate through the VA process of getting their benefits started and offering low-cost recruitment and retention techniques for college campuses to utilize. We also assist with graduation and post-graduation services. This is accomplished through workshops that focus on applying and understanding the VA benefit process, and training and consulting for college campuses on how to effectively outreach to the veteran community.
Employment Benefits
Warrior Summit Coalition provides military, veterans and families with employment opportunities by:
Connecting veterans and families to weekly Job-Readiness-Training (JRT), which include: resume writing & cover letter workshops, mock interviews and online job application services.
Helping veterans connect directly with human resource managers to match qualified candidates to open positions through monthly hiring fairs, education fairs and VA benefit resource fairs.
Financial Benefits
Warrior Summit Coalition offers financial literacy and money management workshops throughout the year to assist veterans with personal and business account management, credit literacy and explain the benefits that are available to them.
Housing Benefits
Warrior Summit Coalition connects veterans with housing resources and services. These services include housing options for homeless veterans, rent assistance for veterans, home purchasing assistance and placement services for high risk veterans.
Mental & Emotional Health Benefits
Warrior Summit Coalition throughout the year connects veterans with VA counseling services and organizations such as the Warrior Art Project and other alternative mental health programs throughout the state.
Legal Benefits
Warrior Summit Coalition assists veterans with a wide range of legal assistance to remedy the variety of legal issues that they may encounter; whether it is help with appealing a VA disability claim, assistance with getting a charge moved into the veteran court system or closing on a house.
Woman Veteran Services
Warrior Summit Coalition connects Women veterans with the resources and services necessary for them to positively transition and sustain by providing a network for women veterans to connect, exchange resources, and support each other through services provided by local, state, and federal organizations.
Family Services
Recreation & Discounts
Throughout the year Warrior Summit Coalition hosts events for veterans and their family to connect with other veterans. Some of these events include, but are not limited to; Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox baseball outings, Chicago Wolves, paintball tournaments, professional sports outings, and many other sporting and recreational events.
